Tom Laufenberg is CEO & Chairman of ECM Holding Group and President & Founder of Pioneer Energy Capital (PEC). PEC was founded in 2011 and is focused on escalating the commercialization of early-stage cleantech companies through a combination of investment, talent acquisition, strategy, and established sales & delivery channels. Through a proven due diligence process, PEC is able to work with investment groups, emerging cleantech companies, and the ESCO's to increase substantially the size and scope of energy efficiency projects.

In addition to leading Pioneer Energy Capital, Tom serves as CEO & Chairman of ECM Holding Group, LLC. Both companies share a common vision of rapidly growing the size and scope of energy efficiency projects. While Pioneer Energy Capital is focused on the investment in and growth of existing early-stage companies, ECM Holding Group through its portfolio of subsidiaries, is focused on delivering excellent energy efficiency projects to its ESCO and Corporate Clients. Tom is focused on the strategic vision, partnership development, and financial performance of ECM Holding Group.

Tom's deep experience in the energy services industry includes an array of energy-efficiency technologies, projects, and organizations. Prior to PEC, Tom opened the Midwest territory for McKinstry and served as its Regional Director. This division implemented projects worth over $50M in its first five years, and opened offices in Minneapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, St. Louis and Kansas City.

Before joining McKinstry, Tom served in a number of leadership roles with Johnson Controls over a ten-year period. Those varied assignments included service, systems and energy solutions with leadership roles in sales management, branch management, and corporate initiatives.

Tom has a BSCE, Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He has served on the Board of Directors for the UW-Platteville Alumni Association and the Renewable Energy Program.


Bruno Biasiotta

Mr. Biasiotta is the former President and CEO of Philips Lighting Americas, where he was responsible for driving sustained profitable growth for Philips’ lighting businesses in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Mr. Biasiotta was named the Lighting Industry Person of the Year in 2012.

Prior to joining Philips, the majority of Mr. Biasiotta's career was with Johnson Controls where he held various regional, national, and global leadership roles across their Systems, Services and Solutions businesses. He managed critical operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa where he was Vice President and General Manager of the Service and Commercial businesses. In America, he was Vice President and General Manager of Building Efficiency, which included Energy Efficiency, Renewable Technologies, Demand Response, Solar, and Lighting Services.

Mr. Biasiotta was born in Italy, immigrated to the United States as a youth, and maintains dual citizenship. He is married and has three children. Mr. Biasiotta holds a degree in business from Cleveland State University where he played Division I Soccer. Mr. Biasiotta sits on various professional and volunteer boards.

Mark Faucher has a deep background in the Energy Services and HVAC Industries. Currently a Vice President at Daikin McQuay, Mark has also held senior leadership positions at both Trane and Johnson Controls. As a Branch General Manager and Regional Solutions Sales Manager at Johnson Controls, Mark executed the company’s corporate sales strategy to increase revenue and productivity in the global diversified technology marketplace.

More recently, Mark served as the Director of Solutions and Service for Trane, where he led revenue and profit growth for the highest performing, fastest growing, service and contracting organization within the Trane Commercial division for five consecutive years.

In Mark’s current role with Daiken McQuay, he leads the Owner Sales and Service Group, National Accounts, and the Modular Central Plant businesses. Daikin McQuay is a market leader in the production of commercial air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment with sales in 80 countries.


Lou Ronsivalli

Lou Ronsivalli has been a global energy services and OEM industry leader for over 35 years. He has published over 75 articles for industry publications and has spoken on a variety of topics at major conferences including the World Energy Engineering Conference and the International Facilities Managers Association annual meeting.

For over 30 years, Lou worked for industry leaders including Johnson Controls, York International, Cinergy Corporation and Trane Company, most recently serving as Trane’s Global Service Leader. In 2014, he launched GioVantage Strategies LLC to consult for leading Commercial and Industrial providers and OEMs in US markets. He also currently serves as the Executive Director of Services for the National Association of Trane Franchise Holders (“NATFH”).


Erik Larson

As President of ECM Holding Group, Erik oversees the achievement of all strategic and operational objectives. Erik has overseen the development and growth of the ECM portfolio into five distinct energy efficiency companies, each independent yet able to leverage sales platforms, auditing resources, project management, measurement & verification, with uniform back office support. The strategic use of all resources has further led to complete N/A geographic expansion as well.

Prior to founding Building Envelope Solutions and co-founding ECM Holding Group, Erik was the North American Sales Manager at MarquipWardUnited’s Sheeting Division, a global manufacturer and international market leader in high-speed corrugating, finishing and sheeting machinery for the corrugated box and paper converting industries. While at MWU, Erik spent time as a Field Engineer, New Product Development Engineer, Sales Executive, and Sales Leader. He also played a significant role in the resurrection of the Sheeting Equipment product line which grew from less than $1M back to over $25M during his last role at MWU. Erik’s leadership in lean manufacturing has been driven into the ECM delivery platform and continues to focus on driving unnecessary costs out of the delivery of efficiency projects.

Erik has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. Erik, his wife Jenny and their 3 children are very active members of the community in Oshkosh WI.

As Vice-President of ECM Holding Group, Chris oversees all technical objectives surrounding the development and continued performance of energy conservation technologies within the portfolio companies. In addition to being the technical lead, Chris leads much of the organizations’ general Business Development, including project development and project delivery. Additionally, Chris is responsible for ECM’s new product development and M&V programs.

Prior to co-founding ECM, Chris was a Director of Business Development for NAC Mechanical and Electrical Services, a full service Electrical, Mechanical, and Building Automation Contractor in the upper Midwest. Prior to NAC, Chris was Installation Manager at Johnson Controls, and a Project Manager at Fluor Daniel. Chris has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in Risk Management. Chris is just as comfortable teasing out energy efficiency opportunities in the boiler room as he is reviewing cash-flow projections for your project in the Board room.

As Vice President of Sales & Marketing for ECM Holding Group, Doug oversees the client interface strategies for the company; including ESCO and corporate client relationships, marketing strategies and materials, as well as website and social media interaction. His strength and focus is through a customer-centric approach to sustainability, insuring all aspects of a client’s needs are considered during the development of a successful project; operations, maintenance, and sustainability, in addition to measurable and verifiable results.

Prior to joining ECM, Doug was President/CEO of GalexC Corporate Conservation, Inc., a conservation and sustainability consulting business founded in 2007 with a focus on ESCO’s and large corporations. GalexC assisted clients in the achievement of sustainability goals, vetting of new technologies, and the development/implementation of comprehensive conservation projects. GalexC continues as an important consulting business unit for ECM Holding Group.

Doug’s career has focused on sales, marketing, and management in all aspects of the conservation industry…electrical, automation controls, mechanical, and energy efficiency…giving him a unique breadth and perspective for conservation technologies and their implementation. This experience was gained through various positions within Eaton Corporation (Sales Engineer & Regional Marketing Manager), Rockwell Automation (Energy Management Specialist – SW & Latin America), and Trane (ESCO Group - Business Development Manager).

Doug has a wife and three children and lives in San Diego, CA. He has a B.A. in Business Management from Washington State University.
